Marketing Strategist

Collaborates with the Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications to create university brand marketing strategies

Collaborates with marketing and communications team members to determine best use of marketing mix to support student recruitment and retention, enhance the university’s image and reputation, and drive university goals

Coordinates the implementation and tracking of university marketing plans and advertising tactics

Creates university social media calendars and posts to all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and YouTube; monitors social media platforms

Meets with university deans, directors and managers to create marketing plans for specific programs

Manages and organizes all of the photos and videos used for marketing purposes using SmugMug

Works as liaison between department and sales representatives to complete media buys and produce required materials for advertisements

Conducts market research, defines audience segmentation, sets metrics and assesses products for effectiveness

Handles all advertising and marketing contract negotiations, media buys and payments
